Drive along some of Norway's most picturesque motorcycle roads among steep mountains, mighty waterfalls and spectacular glaciers.
With our local knowledge, we have created some exciting rides with completely unique experiences and photo opportunities - just for you.
You are welcome to invite friends from outside VRCC to our informal summer meeting!

Gaupnetunet is a combined hotel and camping facility. You can stay in comfortable rooms, various camping cabins or in tents if you wish.
We have reserved a selection of rooms and cabins until 1 March 2025. We therefore recommend registration before this date.
You can also book your stay after 1 March, subject to availability. In total, we have currently reserved accommodation for around 50 people.
If the demand is proves to be bigger, we will try to increase the number of reservations for VRCC.
There is walking distance between the campsite and the hotel, to grocery stores and a small shopping center with a pharmacy.
If you want to enjoy to a swimming pool and a relaxing sauna, you can also go to Lustrabadet.
A large tent will be set up at the campsite which will be "our" common area. It is possible to grill or cook your own food at the campsite.
Facilities at the compound.
- Several types of rooms available.
- Small and large cabins. Some have their own bathroom and kitchen.
- The hotel has a cozy restaurant and bar with all privileges. Breakfast buffet.
- Tents and communal area at the campsite with barbecues.
- Sanitary building with kitchen, shower/toilet, washing machine and dryer.
- Discounted access to the fitness center.
Beverages
Brought alcohol can be enjoyed on the campsite, but not in the hotel's common areas.
The hotel serves alcohol with all priveliges.
The nearest grocery store is within walking distance of the campsite.
The nearest wine/liquor store is in Sogndal in the west or Lom in the east.
Prices / t-shirts
We have tried to create a meeeting with as low prices as possible. At this meeting, we therefore focus on the great trips and the time spent together at the meeting.
All expenses for food/drink and any tolls/ferry/entrance tickets on the trips are covered by the individual.
All prices for accommodation include a VRCC registration fee of NOK 400/person which covers entertainment, pin, patch and some snacks.
The registration fee is not refundable.
You can freely choose the number of overnight stays within the duration of the meeting when you book your stay.
Breakfast buffet is included when you book a room, and can be purchased as an option if you book a cabin or camping.
The prices for cabins include final cleaning.

Payment and cancellation
When booking online, payment is made at the time of booking.
You can also contact Gaupnetunet for a manual booking. Code: VRCC
Changes and cancellations can be made by yourself via the link in your booking confirmation.
Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival are refunded in full.
If there are less than 7 days until arrival, they unfortunately have to charge a cancellation fee.
These are as follows:
50% if cancellations occur between 7 to 14 days before arrival and 100% if the cancellation occurs less than 7 days before arrival.
The VRCC registration fee of NOK 400 per person is non-refundable.

Friday:
Breakfast, ride out. Trip to the Tungestølen glacier cabin with a fantastic view of the Jostedalsbreen glacier. Local surprise and storytelling along the way. Lunch at Tungestølen glacier cabin for those who want it. Picturetime. On the return we take a trip to the beautiful little village of Solvorn, where those who wish can take an afternoon swim in the Sognefjord or go sightseeing on their own.
Return to Gaupnetunet with barbecue / dinner and socializing.
Live entertainment in the VRCC tent in the evening.

Saturday:
Breakfast, ride out. We take the Solvorn - Ornes ferry and get a tour of the historic Urnes Stave Church. Then the trip goes to Skjolden, up towards Sognefjell, and over the Tindevegen to Øvre Årdal. Then via the ferry Manheller - Fodnes via Sogndal and back to Gaupnetunet.
Grilling / dinner and socializing.

Distance: 187 km
Sunday:
Breakfast and departure.
Special considerations
The ride outs are carried out in groups of max. 20 bikes. We try to follow other traffic and enjoy the trip in a normal pace
The VRCC Norway crew rides with you in all groups, and assists with any problems.
Everyone must follow the applicable traffic rules. The area has little traffic. When we drive in groups, we try to avoid overtaking.
Due to narrow roads, we drive in line, keep to the right in the lane and have a minimum of 3 seconds distance to the driver in front.
